Brunei International Airport retail and restaurants

Disclaimer: This information is updated up to as in published date.

Most of the time, passengers often have to stay at least an hour in the airport before taking off.  I usually googled on the information to plan for what-to-do in the airport, but unfortunately the information is limited.

Listed here are restaurants or retail shops to stay while waiting for the boarding time.

This restaurant serves continental cuisine

Jollibee is a popular Filipino fast-food chain known for its unique blend of American-style fast food and Filipino flavours, offering favourites like crispy fried chicken, sweet-style spaghetti, and peach mango pie.

KFC, short for Kentucky Fried Chicken, is a globally renowned fast-food chain famous for its secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices, which gives its fried chicken a distinctive flavour and crispy texture that has made it a favourite in many countries.

The bookstore at Brunei Airport offers a unique selection of international bestsellers and local literary works, creating an inviting space for travellers who love to read. A special section highlights books by Bruneian authors, ranging from novels and memoirs to works on local culture and history, giving visitors a glimpse into the country’s rich heritage and perspectives.

In addition to books, the store also features locally made souvenirs and Brunei-themed stationery, making it a great stop for meaningful gifts. The friendly staff are always on hand to help find the perfect read or suggest local authors, making this bookstore a memorable part of the airport experience.

At the departure/arrival halls

The skincare shop in the departure hall of Brunei Airport offers a refreshing oasis for travellers seeking high-quality skincare solutions. Specialising in Brunei-made products, the store proudly showcases a range of locally crafted skincare items, including natural creams, serums, and masks.

The shop’s serene and elegant design creates a soothing environment, perfect for browsing and discovering the luxurious skincare options that reflect Brunei’s natural beauty.

The availability of vending machines at Brunei Airport provides a convenient solution for travellers looking to "dispose" of their foreign currency coins before heading home.

BND1 coffee, anyone?

More information: If you happen to just arrive in Brunei, instead of calling a ride from Grab app, do install the local ride-sharing app dubbed "Dart". Instead of picking you up from the departure area, you are required to walk along with your luggage for some quite distance pick-up area. Alternatively, call for taxi for convenience.
