San Da Gen Kopitiam @Sandakan, Sabah

Welcome to San Da Gen Kopitiam. An eatery that is getting quite many reviews from significant social media users.

Came back to this city after almost six years, I shall give this place a try.

Sandakan= UFO tart or Cow Dung tart. It is RM2.50 per piece, half the price that is available in Kota Kinabalu cafes.

Not much difference but the foamy thing is made in neat way.

These cookies bring back childhood memories for some of us, yeah? But, not sure whether there are for display only or can be bought. Didn't want to ask cos we already ordered tonnes of food.

One thing I find annoying is, the only way you can look at the menu is to go to this one and only "menu board" to get your order. For me, it is difficult to make choice by standing and thinking of what are the food I should order, and whether the price is worth it.

Another thing is the location of this cafe is at the centre of the "old town", it is quite difficult to find parking adjacent to this place.

Nasi Kerabu is quite worth the money, from the pickles, rice, sambal and meat....almost perfect.

Salted egg oozing out from French Toast.

Another oozing delicious stuff....the matcha filling bun.

Hmm, sister struggled to finish this laksa.

                                                   Decent nasi lemak.

Verdict: Overall food is ok, nice ambiance, but definitely not for travelers travelling in big group cos the bill will be the same as eating fresh seafood.
