Tuaran Crocodile Farm started with a borrowed loan of RM600.

The last time I came here was more than 10 years ago. Can't really remember what has changed, but  above picture is something new to me which I found the most interesting.

In case you cannot read the wording, here it is:

Mr Chai, Mr Crocodile.

The founder has more than 50 years of crocodile farming and breeding experience and already own the three largest crocodile farms throughout Malaysia ( Sandakan, Tuaran and Langkawi).

History started when he was aged 14, despite his father's objection, he borrowed RM600 from his neighbour and started his empire. With his dedication, determination and passion for crocodile, he has succeeded in breeeding more than 3,000 crocodile babies annually.

He is the pioneer to the preservation of endangered species in Malaysia.

Being the largest crocodile farm in Sabah, we accommodate more than 1,000 crocodiles in our seven acres of land establishment adjacent to Sulaman Highway Tuaran.

Another interesting fact about one of the displayed croc at photo booth area.

This was actually a 60-year-old salt water male crocodile (Buaya Tembaga), 2,200 pound with a length of 19 feet. It was shot at Sandakan Kinabatangan River in 2003 by the villagers for eating one of them.
